SHINING EGO.It feels like I'm out of the elevator and halfway across the launch pad before the doors even open. Everyone is scrambling around the floor and the hangars in frenzy, sidestepping to avoid running into one another in a way that makes them seem like panicked crabs. Shouting to one another about something or another, only making the alarm sound louder than it really is.   Up the stairs. Across the bridge. In my peripheral, a flock of rookie pilots and a few janitors are crowding at the feet of The Valkyrie, staring up at the automaton in awe as WAIT A MINUTE THE ALARM SOUNDED SIX HOURS AGO WHY ISN'T THAT FUCKING ROBOT IN SPACE KICKING SHINING EGO.

:bulletred: CAN'T PUT IT INTO WORDS

I'm having trouble with my own talents lately.
Every time I make an attempt to write something—anything at all—my mind eventually goes blank in the middle of the process, and I forget why I'm even writing what I am in the first place. Sometimes I forget what I'm writing about.
I have a lot of ideas right now, more than half of which I personally think are great and would do well even in "the real world," but I'm having difficulty putting them into words anymore...

I think it's because I have too many things on my mind.
Maybe I'm not focused enough to write right now.
Maybe I should stop forcing it. Then again, is it forcing it when you have the ideas but can't seem to just write them out? I forget anymore.

Pretty good. Noah just got his driver's license. He got a higher score than I did (I got my license about 6 months ago) on both the written and the driving test. I'm so proud of him. :happycry:

I was going to take the written test this week to get my permit, but, apparently, stupid Texas laws require that (a) my parents be Texas citizens for three years in order to get my license straight away or (b) I take a class to get my permit if I'm not eighteen.
Of course, we had to go with the latter. |: Meh.

That is good, though.

Well, that sounds like Washington's rules too. It doesn't take anything to get a learning permit, you only have to be 15 years old. But you still have to take a driver's ed course AND be at least 16 before you can test for your license.

I tell him that all the time. xD But I will, just for you. <3
I am especially worried, though, because his main vehicle is an old manual truck. Stick-shifts sound so difficult, from what he says about them. *gulp*
